So, I was just over at Northern Tool and, next to a stack of tire irons and blackjacks, I saw this interesting but not particularly well marked tool. It was described as "hubcap remover and tire changer."

Do you think it would be useful for breaking a bead on a MC tire?

Have used those before to pry off hub caps and tap them back into place with the little rubber hammer part. Never tried to use them to change a tire???

Kind of big to be hauling it around...

It's only used for separating hubcaps from rims and taping them back into place.

It's a mallet with a bent screwdriver.

just run over to cycle gear and get Stockton 3 piece tire iron set SKU: web1006950 $29.99

I use a home depot husky 12 inch "C" clamp to break beads
