1972 Honda SL 350. 6,000 miles, new chain, new battery, rebuilt carbs, aluminum fenders, original paint no scratches. $3,000.

1985 BMW R80 79,000 miles, just rebuilt with 3,000 miles. New paint, new wheels, new knobby tires, new battery, crash bars, skid plate. Rebuilt by Perry Bushong in Fort Worth. $5,000

You might have some folks drooling, but sans pictures, most are snoozing.
 
When you get 'em please post 'em up. I also would enjoy taking a quick memory trip back to 1972. I regard those bikes as the first real dual sport bike. The SL version would tolerate being ridden in the dirt more than occasionally, but was also a capable street mount that would sustain true freeway speeds without rattling apart in 1000 miles or less. I can remember seeing a few in the open beginner class out at Cloverfield & the local Houston MX tracks of that period.
 
I had a red SL350. It was a fun bike to play with and Donny, I remember seeing someone trying to MX it way back K then too. From the pics I see that this one has the original pipes. Those are VERY rare to see.
