I really like my Progrips 714's. What are my best options for heated grips. I hear the heated grips tend be harder. Is it worth it?

you can get heating strips, they are the most common, they wrap around the bar and you slide your favorite grips over them.
kinda like rear window defrosters for a car.

cycle gear grip heaters

with those it is recommended that you wrap a plastic film under the left one to act as insulation so they will heat more evenly.

I put the AME heated grips on my Versys last spring. They work great and are extremely comfortable. I had the 714 Gel Grips on prior. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBx9L5nXgSE"]AME Heated Grips - YouTube[/ame]
