I had a bit of free time today so I decided to take a last minute ride for breakfast. My destination was Mary's Brazos Cafe in Tin Top. It's only about an hour from my house, but with a little creative routing I turned it into a nice 110 mile loop.

Curvy roads are few and far between in this area, so we take what we can get, even if the road surfaces are crumbling from all the gas and oil field rigs.
Saw some nice scenery crossing over Fall Creek near Acton. Reminded me that you can find nice scenery if you get off the main roads and explore a little.
Then I made a quick stop in Granbury sort out some navigation issues, and shot a couple of pics of the square and Hood County courthouse. Including the lovely Connie of course.
Then it was just a few miles down Tin Top Highway to get to Mary's Cafe.
Little holes-in-the-wall like this are just my kind of place. Had a tasty breakfast, enjoyed the coffee for a few more minutes, then got back on the road.
Didn't stop for any more pics after that, just enjoyed the ride.
Cheers!
