Finally picked up some new glass the other day! :sun:

Nikkor 55-200, spotted it on the clearance shelf at Target for $175.01 and could not resist.

I am hooked on the VR technology. I've been struggling to get good pics at Jamy's gym events with our Nikon 75-300 (no VR); even with the monopod. But, this may soon change. Even though it's not as zoomy as the 75-300, I'm looking forward to some much more betterer shots!

I tested her out at Jamy's swim lessons yesterday and I was very impressed. I'll upload to photobucket and post a few for grins and giggles when I get to our "big computer".

Oops, wrong focus!

I think I'm going to like this glass!

Congrats on the new lens. I am very impressed with mine; light, sharp and very useful with VR. Not terribly fast due to variable aperture, but takes great photos.

Caution - I don't know what body you using, but be sure to not pick up the camera by the lens. The 55-200 has the plastic lens mount and WILL break if stressed too much. However, if the mount ever breaks, replacements are available online and easy to change out.

Shoot it and enjoy it.
