Looks pretty similar to other tilt bed or drop bed motorcycle trailers. I can't remember the manufacturer but they usually have one on display being demonstrated at the Motorcycle Show every year. That'd be a good option if you wanted to get an up close personal view of something like this. They are pricey however, but convenient.

Here's a few examples to compare if you are interested.

Ha, not sure what rock I have been living under. I thought it was a newish design.
Don't have a need for it but I like mechanical designs like that.

Yea, I remember the first time I saw them at the motorcycle show I watched their demonstration three or four times, it's fascinating. You still have to store them though so my Kendon (Also a cool design) wins there and loading my heavy FJR on it isn't too bad.

For the record, I liked the first one best because you had to fiddle with less things and it even held your tie downs. Well thought out. Now if you had one with a Pit Bull Trailer Restraint. Then it would be a ride on and step off affair.

Yea, I can't remember the one I saw at the show, it had very minimal fiddling, rock shield, shiny, ride in locking chocks, etc etc.

The most similar one I recall at the shows years ago was the Baxley. I think they are a superior design to those that require you to uncouple from the tow vehicle. Baxley came with the chock, rock guard, etc. Don't know if they are still around but there were very cool, albeit expensive for a limited purpose trailer.

What about suspension on the first trailer, A right size woop would send trailer wheels up. I understand fne bike is sprung, but I kike trailers with springs.

That's the one, thank you!

Only a couple more than MSRP on a 2 bike Kendon. This is definitely more high end than a Kendon.

True enough. On first look, the Baxley is far more expensive on a 2-bike to 2-bike comparison. $5900 "loaded" for the Baxley and $3700 - $3900 for the Dual Ride up Kendon. But when you look at what comes on the Baxley, that isn't on the Kendon it seems fair - if you want that stuff.

Electric brakes (N/A on kendon - though not really necessary at this weight)
adjustable height coupler (N/A Kendon)
Jack wheel (+ $159 on Kendon)
spare tire w carrier (+ $180 Kendon)
tool box - $ ?? - shown in pics but can't order on Kendon site.
stone guard - don't see an option for that (much needed for a street bike)

Apples and oranges given one folds up and the other needs space to park it, but by far the easiest to load. For bigger bikes, Baxley eliminates ramps and seems like the best engineering of the various options in this thread. Now you have me wanting a Baxley all over again! Luckily I want $6000 more than I want a Baxley.

Exactly the same with me, only I don't have room to park a Baxley and I already have a 2 (3) bike Kendon.

I think Kendon stopped with the tool box, which is why you see them in the existing pictures but can't buy them anymore. Thought I remembered hearing that somewhere. I think the same is also true with the stone guard that they used to offer as well.

Also, for the price of a Baxley you could get a really nice enclosed trailer with a fold down ramp door so no need to worry about ramps or weather or much of anything else, and the parking footprint would be similar.
