First I want to just say I have a whole new respect for photographers. OH MY GOD it was so bright! And hazy too. I couldn't tell it the haze came from the humidity or mexican fires. Either way it really did limit the view. But it was still beautiful. I've never really called myself or felt like a motorcyclist. Not until now. NOW I get it. The feeling of riding alone, in the middle of nowhere, no one to help if anything happens, it's actually quite liberating.
I thought I would have plenty of time to think about life after parenting, work options, family and so on.
It wasn't until the day before I had to come home that I realized I hadn't thought of ONE DANG THING! All I thought about was what I was doing right then, the only thing that mattered was what was happening at that moment in time.
It was so peaceful!
I thought the ride home would be hard. You know the ride to anywhere is fun because you've never done that before. But coming home, going over your tracts usually sucks. But it didn't. I didn't want to stop. I'm pretty sure I know what I'll be doing in 13 yrs when I can retire. There's no need for a house when there's a whole world (well North America lol) out there just waiting for you.
Anyways, this ride was everything I didn't know to thing about. And I can't wait to do another one.
Please keep in mind, I'm not photographer and I had to edit these pictures or they would have been too bright to even look at. But I really wanted to share them as they are a window to what I experienced.
It they don't all show up, maybe if you go to the google photo album here. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1...?key=MU5OTTdwUzVsaEdCN2dEVHVQdUpOSmU3WXpyWGJ3
Thanks,
Bryan
