Bandit 1250 - FA vs S

The fairing actually seems pretty small, does is really do anything?

Re: Bandit 1250 - FA vs S

If you are referring to lower fairing protection I asked "S" owners that added them and none said it added any wind protection. I left it stock. I like the look of seeing the whole motor + ease of access.
The only benefit seems to be aerodynamics.

Re: Bandit 1250 - FA vs S

I have a GSX1250FA. The full fairing protects your legs and helps direct hot engine air away from your legs and helps air flow through the radiator more efficiently.

But, more stuff to break in a fall and makes the bike look like a mini FJR1300 instead of a ****** naked bike.

Soooooo......

Re: Bandit 1250 - FA vs S

My FA tends to blow heat from the rad fan straight on me in traffic.

At least the fairings come off with little more than hex bolts.
