I'm pretty sure those guys have more experience than I do. Haha.Maybe Brian with his extensive experience in rough terrain should be providing ADV escort services to the two elderly men on TWTEX who are attempting to ride the Baja 1000 on brand new, just out of the crate KTM bikes...
...just sayin'

Thanks. Did you run it off its own battery?
Where did you stay at out there? And what trailhead?
It was in a cradle that was tied into the battery on the bike so it had power.
We stayed in a condo on the south side of MOAB call Rim Village.
Good location, nice places to stay, attached garages to store gear/bikes. Really nice way to go with a big group of people.

Yep, suddenly I can't find the fitness video tape anymore.
...back to the rock blasting discussion.
I wonder if a steering damper helps or hinders when the terrain is so severe as on this 5 mile road in Moab.

Brian...you dog! You ruined my lunch today. Just sat down with yummy whatever and clicked on this video. Somewhere around the two minute mark I dropped my fork and started shifting around in the chair trying to dodge rocks and get that dang front end up. Probably halfway down the trail I'd lost my apatite altogether and just shoved the plate off to the side because it looked to all concerned you were about to have the rear kick out and go off a steep drop to the left while hopping a gap between two ledges. Jiminy Cricketts man! You wore me out.
Probably among the best riding vids I've ever watched. Much thanks!
I figure a return to Moab is in the cards this year. Hard to pull off with March being ideal but still way too early for the Rockies to the east.
