Picked up a new Ducati Multistrada Enduro so the Tenere has to go.

If you're looking to upgrade to an adv bike from your single cylinder dual sport dirt bike. this is a great transition.
If you don't want to get a second mortgage to buy an adv bike.. this is a great deal.

Bought new December 12' from Central Texas motorsports in Georgetown (great shop)

Well sorted out for any adventure you want to do.. this bike has been well tested and ridden without ever leaving me stranded.. Big Bend, Canada, TAT. it's eaten it all up and still wants more.

Upgrades: (spent over $4800)
  1. Oem and low tinted windscreen
  2. Wilbers Supenson upgrade rear shock with High/low compression and rebound adjustment. has the remote spring tension adjustment so you can add/remove preload for passagers or camping gear.
  3. front forks has revalve and stiffer springs.
  4. Kaoko throttle lock
  5. Led Light bar
  6. HID headlight upgrade
  7. Carbon fiber side cover (muffler side)
  8. 2brothers carbon muffler with double frame mount. (no breaking)
  9. pivot pegs
  10. custom folding shift lever
  11. ECU unleashed reprogramming.. great power and mpg
  12. BMC air filter.
  13. ROK bar risers
  14. ABS bypass switch (not recommend except knarly trail sections)
  15. ACD heavy duty skid plate
  16. USB charging plug for phone or gps
  17. Battery tender connector
  18. Aluminum rear luggage rack
  19. Jessie Panniers with custom stabilizer bar
  20. top box (plastic) painted to match jessie panniers

34K miles +/- as its being used as my buddy bike for my friends to ride.

very well maintained with engine and shaft oil changed often
Valves checked at 28K and still in spec with no movement.
Will come fully serviced with fresh oil, oil filter and cleaned air filter
New Shinko 805 adv tires 300 miles ago.

this bike has served me well and has been well ridden for it's intended purpose.. there are a few scratches and dents from all the adventures it's taken me on but she still looks and performs awesome. Yamaha has built an amazing and reliable bike that will take you around the world..

$6900 OBO. Cash and/or Credit Cards accepted.
Just paid off so title will be clear with my name.
Test rides with cash in hand/ current DL and proof of insurance
Can deliver and/or bike is ready for a fly and buy.

Very nice bike, off topic, but how's the Duc?

It's a whole different animal.. Not sure if it's really that much better than the Tenere.. I like the torque of the tenere.. where the Multi is a rpm rocket.

It's super trick looking and handles great though it does have a little push to it.. thinking I need to work on the suspension. don't think I need to spend $1500 like I did on the Tenere though.. but definitely need to work on the rear preload.

bike is comfortable as I did 250 miles on it last weekend with out any monkey butt.

I like all the ways you can set it up with HP/suspensions via the dash.

Wouldn't recommend spending $28K new on one when you can buy a Tenere New for $14K OTD. Just don't see it being $10,000 better..

but that's me coming off my Tenere that I spent 4 years tweaking to my liking vs a stock Multistrada enduro.

I need more time to ride and sort it out. I'm happy with it but not over the moon like its the best bike ever..

Just being very honest here..

That digital camo looks fantastic on that bike with the gray!

If someone doesn't like it I can take off and replace it with black carbon
though I like the digital camo too..

Come on someone come over and make me an offer I can't refuse.. Momma is giving me dirty look in the garage like I have way too many motorcycles.

plus I have more accessories I need to buy for the Duc....

Once again.... good deal comes up on a bike that is done up correctly and I have no cash. This is beginning to be come a problem! GLWS

Or $21K more than this finely setup used but barely broken in bike. But when you get the new bike itch it needs to be scratched. The Tenere hasn't been around too long but is already proven itself to be probably the most trouble free and reliable motorcycle ever.

My 2013 has almost clocked 100K miles in under 3 years. Gas, oil and tires...gas, oil and tires, ...

wow.. looks like you've been out riding me a lot since the last time we met up..

How about a Cyber Monday Sale on this bike..

$6000.00 !!!!! take cash or credit card.. property taxes are due and I don't want to pull out of savings..

Very nice! How does it perform riding two up?

The Tenere is an excellent 2-up bike. I had mine 4 years and that was its primary duty. We traveled fully loaded for long weekends frequently and it handled beautifully. My wife is 5'7" with long legs and she was very comfortable on it.

When I bought it I had an FJR that we intented to keep. Eventually the FJR wasn't being used because the S10 provided the 2-up capability AND gave us the option to hit some roads less traveled.

Sure wish someone would come take a look at this great bike and make an offer..

went on a 250 ride on the Ducati with the wife on back.. Buddy didn't have a bike so I let him ride the tenere with his girl on the back.

He loves the bike and wants to buy but has a few tax issues to work through.

it has the rear top case with padding on it so it's super comfy for 2 up riding. wife had no complaints..

Sold pending payment.. his bank is waiting on me to get paper work.. had to get inspected and renew registration for their title company to transfer info..
