I purchased these Bates Goretex boots at Top Brass in Stafford a couple of years ago. Great for riding and very waterproof. The problem now is they do not fit after my weight loss.

They are size 13 medium width.

Only been worn on 1 weekend ride to the Hill Country.

I'm asking $50 plus shipping.

If you're in Houston we can meet up and save shipping.

Little too big for me but I am curious to know how waterproof these boots are? I've seen them on Woot for petty cash a couple times and have resisted due to lack of feedback. Thanks for an info you can offer.
 
I have not ridden with them in rain so i honesty have no idea. Sorry.

This is the boot I've settled on several years ago as my duty boot for police work and like them very much. I try to avoid riding to work in the rain but my feet have never gotten wet then or in any police conditions (think working crashes on I-35 and standing in muddy ruts, etc.).

Not my size or they would have been sold long ago. It's been a while since I've bought a pair but it seems like I paid somewhere between $100 and $125.
