Helping a fellow member get the image tags figured out, I came across one of the bazillion hidden galleries on my smuggie. This image jumped out at me.... Enjoy!

That is just their way of saying, "We're done." This way someone doesn't reach the end and think, "Hmmm... maybe they just forgot to come back and finish the sidewalk?" It's kind of like the, "TPLIB" notices on blank pages in big presentation packages.
 
Ironically, the greatest probable lawsuit I see in this picture is the kid who flies off the end of the sidewalk on his scooter, and smacks into the sign. :giveup:
 
I find the film shot of this to have a ton of 'depth' to it over what I think the digital would have done. Anyone else think the same?
 
Did you check the other side of the sign to see if it says "sidewalk begins"?
