Howdy,

:tab Got away late Friday. Got away almost on time for the ride Saturday. Ran some awesome roads then hit rain about 1:00pm and it rained and it rained and it rained... Still had fun even in the rain, 262 miles or so. Awesome food, great company. Sunday, cool and overcast, dry pavement! Even more awesome roads, dead battery on the video camera :-( The girls head back to Hot Springs mid afternoon, they guys head North. It gets in the low 50's and misty, still have a blast! Had lunch with a bear (live but sleeping). More incredible pavement and twisties and more cold. Finally head South and it warms up and quits misting. Make it back to Hot Springs in time to get dinner, 422 miles. Bill ground off about 1/4" of his Virago's right peg while hanging with the sportier bikes all weekend. Can't say I've ever seen a Virago 1100 run quite like that! Wake up Monday... freaking beautiful day :angryfire Loaded the trailer and drove eight hours to get home. Once in Texas it rained most of the way. All in all, fantastic weekend. Good roads, good people, good food, screw the weather. :chug: Pictures and the long version to come within the week.
