Some things should be enjoyed, some things make us comfortable. I like to go fast at the track. I bought back my Gixxer from GixxerJasen (yes, Gixxer-LessJasen now). Looks like tomorrow might allow a nice little ride to feel how nice she still is. Jasen added new tires, and a proper mount for the brake reservoir. I rode it from the trailer to the shop (100 ft or so) and it really felt like your favorite baseball glove, a good pair of jeans, or being in the company of a really good friend. You pick up where you left off and it is as good as it ever was. Now that I have dropped 56 pounds, I can sit on her and lay down properly on the tank. I can sit comfortably tucked.

She is still the one.

So of course I took a picture or two....

There really is something cool about the 750s. Still getting mine dialed in.

Nice looking garage! What make/model bike lift is that?

Actually, I have two, the one you see there is a Handy Industries old style 1000 pound pneumatic lift. The other one is also a Handy Industries B.O.B. pneumatic lift, rated at 1500 pounds and it has the drop out for the rear wheel.

One of those is on my wish list. I'm getting too old to crawl around on the ground anymore!

I love the rocking chair. Do you spend much time sitting with your bikes, just admiring them and talking to them? :-P

Yep, I sit right in the middle of the shop, jam some old guy music and stare at my toys.

And make motor noises.

Like Jasen said, I am a lover of twins, you should have noticed that I have one sitting there....

My C-50 Boulevard is still in there as well, don't really like it, but it is fun to ride.

And, of course that brings us back to the Aprilia SXV-550 (I bought it as a 450 and changed motors)
