Apparently part numbers don't help enough to rate a reply. Poor form there, BMW Motorcycles of Austin.

I got everything I wanted the day I went in . Even picked up a new Shoei helmet that I had not thought about but was on my wish list at a great price too . It's not like they are sitting around twitteling their thumbs looking for something to do . SEYA

I took this to mean they were not logged into inventory and probably set up garage sale style.

Sale again today, picked up a Schuberth C3 Pro at 20% off yesterday. Couldn't find that price anywhere online. Pretty sparse in the showroom. I asked about 20% off bikes, but no luck.

I went in July 4th and felt as though I was invisible. Tried on a couple of jackets, even sat on a bike. Not one person acknowledged my presence, didn't notice anyone look my way. So I left. Spent about 30 minutes in there too looking at various things. What a shame.

I need a new windshield arm for my K12GT as one of the holes is stripped out for the screw to attach the windshield. Support, windshield left #46637687855. I can order it online if needed and get the same impersonal experience.

When folks hollered that Lonestar was bought by Woods there were others that said, "No, no! They're (Woods) owned by someone who cares now!!" I don't like Woods, know too many people that worked there and others that shopped there. Nope, gonna pass on BMW Motorcycles of Austin. Guess there's a reason why most/all former Lonestar employees left.

From their last post on 07/03 it seems they're willing to help if you provide a part number. Guess some of us were wrong. They're too busy sitting around talking to themselves, from what I saw. BMW Motorcycles of Austin needs to prove me wrong. I got a notice of a recall, I'll take it to Alamo or Dallas to get that done instead of locally in Austin.

I went in this morning if for no other reason than to see it for one last time. Scott from service called me by name, but no one else said a word. I browsed the sale tables outside but didn't find anything I needed. I might check back Tuesday and see if they have a Schuberth C3 Pro helmet in my size for 20% off.

Scott is a good man. Always was very honest and treated me well.
You would think that Woods would try and keep the good clientele that was developed by Lone star. I always felt a sense of community when I went there.

It was strangely quiet and impersonal. Some old guy that acted like the boss gave me a smile on the way out, but that could have been because he saw the Schuberth box in my hand. A young guy at the parts counter offered to help, said it was his first day, otherwise, not a soul said anything. They need to change their mindset, selling a premium brand means you have to provide a premium sales and service experience. Management should go sit in the Lexus, MB, or BMW dealership and see how premium sales and service is delivered.

Yep. Scott is the lone survivor of the old shop. I hope they are treating him well, he deserves it.

Andrew and Scott are still working in service. Or Andrew was there last weekend.

Been there 3-4 times since Robert left and they have always been friendly and helpful. Checked out the new section at Woods where they are moving and it looks like it has potential.
