If I'd fix the flat on the mower and do a few laps in the yard, it would be a lot better, but . . . . .

Based on the lack of vehicles stopping there (there's a "trail" from 204 down to the river, under/by the bridge), apparently not. Note that if someone was actually down at the river, I couldn't see a vehicle from the road; but the trail is grassy and not well defined, hence I conclude not much use. Note also that this is the Angelina bottom, not far from where it comes bubbling out of the ground, and really shallow. I've been meaning to go check it out, but haven't; however, in my defense I'll point out that I've only been here since Nov '98 so there's been little time.

Catawba County, NC 28609
amazing roads out the front door. Pisgah Nat'l Forest 1 hr away. Outer Banks 5 hrs away.
No foo-foo "bed and breakfast" - farm fresh eggs raised here. We have basement bedrooms with bath; would share with college son on most weekends
Can pitch a tent if you really want to
Tools, parking, gated
Not free, but cheap for TWTexans. We just ask for a donation to help offset some of the costs - whatever you think is fair.
Can be easily persuaded to throw something on the smoker for additional $ - ribs, salmon, pulled pork, brats, brisket, pork tenderloin.

I'll throw my hat in the ring.

As some of y'all know, I have a deer hunting cabin with bunk beds, outdoor shower, heat/AC, & cooking implements. Always open to TWTer's. 10 miles south of Graham, TX near Possum Kingdom Lake.

Terlingua, roughly ten miles off the paved road north of the ghost town. Great views, fire pit, charcoal grills and a smoker. Off grid and on water catch. If you fear the water in Mexico you might want to bring your own bottled water. Great views and incredible stars. Several good spots to put up tents. Access is decent in the dry season with winter being the best. Summer monsoons can make my road impassible.

PM for more details or find me on Facebook.

Floor space, parking, bike shops nearby, food everywhere... Denton near UNT.

Can pick up humans and/or smaller bikes as needed (hitch hauler).

If you want to set up a tent in the living room, I guess you could but it's optional. Cheers!

Re: Two Wheeled Texan Tent Surfing

Greenville area (just east of Metroplex), Hwy 69/FM 3427 just outside of Kingston. Heated / AC garage, lift, tire changer and tools. 10 acres so lost of room to pitch a tent. I have truck and trailer and willing to go pick up a rider in need.

Re: Two Wheeled Texan Tent Surfing

Greenville/Hunt County

5 acres with a decent camping place in the tree line towards the back of the property as long as it's not raining, but tents can go up anywhere.

750SqFt garage with heat/air and half bathroom, I've got a cot in there for anyone that wants to use it

Trailer and hitch so I can retrieve any bike with a 63 inch or less wheel base limited by trailer length. For reference I can fit a VSTROM650 on there with a little room to spare.
