Cylinder Head Rebuild for Honda 250X

Well it's time to rebuild this Honda 250x I've got. Anyone out there have any experience with a local mechanic/machine shop.

I was thinking of using Fastheads.com for the rebuild service, but I've still got to pull the head and shim the valves myself after paying 700 dollars for the head rebuild service.

I figure someone in the TWtex world will have a good line on a real mechanic who actually has experience with these engines.
