Did you see Pascal Wehrlein's car against the barrier at Monaco?

Don't remember the drivers name but if that was the upside down on barrier then yes! Didn't watch all of F1.

Re: Interesting

That was him. The first photos just showed the car against the rail leaving us with a lot of "how the heck did that happen" thinking. Later an on-board camera showed him hitting another car's tire.

Re: Interesting

That's one reason I'm so picky about with whom I ride. Back in my younger, dumber street racing days I saw a car get loose, hit the cars lining the "track", slide to the other side, go up in the air, then land nose first and upside down on a car parked in the third or fourth row. There was an infant in a car seat in the parked car, and he didn't make it. So, no more racing, stunting, wheelies, etc., on public roads for me. Ask those who have ridden with me about my skills, I'll accept their challenges or show a spooky line that works, often when they won't, but I never squid.

If you have multiple bike disease: (copied)
We need a 12 step program. Here goes: 1. See a cool bike. 2. Buy that bike. 3. Ride and love the bike. 4. Try to cram one more bike in your garage. 5. Wife comes to garage and notices that there is an additional bike. 6. Try (sorta hard) to sell one of your bikes. 7. Find it impossible to part with one of your babies. 8. Rationalize why you need all of these bikes. 9. Convince your wife this is actually a rational way of thinking about it. 10. Fail at #9. 11. Realize that your wife is THE BEST! for putting up with you. 12. Ride, ride, ride.

So true...

I have had bikes that took FOREVER to sell... But I was trying

I hate letting a bike go... I get all emotionally attached to them after we go through so many incredible experiences together

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Eph 4:29 (NIV)

Lies are fragile. They require constant attentiveness to keep them alive. The exposure of a single truth can rip through an ocean of lies, evaporating it instantly. - Brandon Smith

If you want government to intervene domestically, you’re a liberal. If you want government to intervene overseas, you’re a conservative. If you want government to intervene everywhere, you’re a moderate. If you don’t want government to intervene anywhere, you’re an extremist. — Joe Sobran

It is no crime to be ignorant of economics, which is, after all, a specialized discipline and one that most people consider to be a ‘dismal science.' But it is totally irresponsible to have a loud and vociferous opinion on economic subjects while remaining in this state of ignorance. – Murray N. Rothbard

When one possessed of the Truth suffers from a heavy heart he is susceptible to a more dangerous affliction — the craving for power to eradicate error, to cause Truth to triumph by force. - Frank Chodorov

Where politicians flourish, long history has harshly taught us, people and their liberty wither. Where the state is god and the "public interest" worshipped, individual man will be found bleeding upon the altar. - Karl Hess

The accepted wisdom is that without the state, society would collapse into lawlessness and crime. In fact, lawlessness and crime define the very nature of the state and the society organized by it. - Bionic Mosquito

But the myth of the rule of law does more than render the people submissive to state authority; it also turns them into the state's accomplices in the exercise of its power. For people who would ordinarily consider it a great evil to deprive individuals of their rights or oppress politically powerless minority groups will respond with patriotic fervor when these same actions are described as upholding the rule of law. - John Hasnas
