Just moved to Houston with my KLR

Hello everyone,

I'm Erick Prevost, 22, and I just moved to League City for a new job in Houston. I have a 2007 KLR that takes me everywhere. I have been without a car for two years, so I ride in any weather and on all the roads :)

I would like to meet with other people around here. I see another dual sport motorcycle from time to time, but never was able to talk to the rider.

Aloha from Lampasas. We have some great FM roads around here that you would enjoy. There are many KLR's on TWT,some even run.:rofl: Just kidding big Kawasaki fan here. Started out on a KE100 enduro. Welcome to TWT. You'll find pretty much year around riding weather in Houston, as long as you don't mind the humidity and an occasional hurricane.

Welcome to TWT from central Texas! I've been on other motorcycle forums but this one is the best. Unfortunately we have already hit the limit for KLR bikes so you're going to have to be put on the waiting list and hope some KLR's move out of Texas. I'm just kiddin'!!! I don't have a KLR but something similar and the Suzuki is my favorite bike to ride every day. Stick around, you'll find local people to ride with and if you have weekends available check out the pie runs and the meet & greet & eat gatherings.
