I am very informative. I could enhance your knowledge at the WMC or PPSS whenever you need it.

I am telling you, the FZ1 brakes are pretty dang good from the gitgo. I might not touch them, but then again I might. Can you put a percentage on that?

I think you are obsessing a bit which makes this more fun.

Re: FZ1 Farkling has begun

Sp, in keeping with FZ1 farkling I added some Vortex Rearsets. Still need to bleed the rear brake and clean the chain. I tell you, cutting up the sprocket cover was tough on me. But the air saw made it bearable.

It raised them about 3/4 to 1 in and back about 1/2 in. Perfect spot. Maybe a 1/4 in high, but I love them.

Here is a pic with the left side on and the right side stock. Unfortunately it lined up with the C channel on the wall and you can't hardly see the left peg.

Back in the day I would have worried about cutting that cover

This is why I have all those spiffy tools to install crimp connectors. Now my brake switch hooks up correctly. And I put them on the old switch in case there is ever a reason to swap back.

Note Yamaha used Brembo M/C front and rear. Here we are old stuff gone ready to install the new.

New pressure switch installed. Support bracket installed, pretty adjustable.

Calf Rope!

Currently I am going back to stock levers up front. I already did the brake waiting for the clutch. That is all I plan on farkling at this point. Surely there is a worthy farkle left undone.

Re: FZ1 Farkling has begun

I rode over to the WMC. Except for the full on rain all the way home it was a nice trip. Who'd a thunk it would rain anyway?
