Long story short, I got rear ended last night on my S-10 so are dealing with their insurance (State Farm) anybody have any experience with the local dealers in the DFW area ??
BTW I`m pretty much fine, little road rash on one knee.. The Honda that hit me was the big loser, the whole front was ripped off.

The Honda was definitely the loser.
When Rich Simmons saw both he said in typical Rich style.. See I told you those F--ers were built like tanks...:eek2:
That is the Tenere.. Possibly more than the Honda...LOL

Jeez, glad you're ok. That could have gone way worse.

Distracted driver or an expected sudden slow down?

Wow - glad you are ok. I would work with the nearest Yamaha dealer and closely with his insurance carrier! I.e. Lost wage etc

Will do, but I'm fine. But working on finding a dealer to work with after 3 separate people
Advised against Freedom Powersport..
His carrier is State Farm and so is mine for the car and house and have a good relationship with my agents office and will go by Monday..

Wow ... had no idea when I sent you a PM.
Really glad you are OK.

I would use Burleson Powersports. My brother had a new, less than 300 miles on it, Yamaha Roadstar Warrior when he "dropped" it and did $5000 damage to it. BPS put it back together and it looked as good or better than new. They worked with his insurance company very well through the whole process. He even got a new helmet out of the deal.
