Delkevic Slip On Pipe...
I'm very happy with the sound and build quality of this $150 Delkevic 18" muffler... however the link pipe needs some kind of a heat shield to stop melting my right boot heel...when my foot is on the pegs just a little...
anybody with fabricating skills got any ideas... I was thinking of something like carbon fiber and hose clamps but maybe Metric Metal could chime in...Thank you Sir...Last edited by mminob; 07-12-2012 at 09:41 PM. Reason: photo |

Re: Delkevic Slip On Pipe...
Leo Vince sells short heat shields exactly like you describe.

Re: Delkevic Slip On Pipe...
Why not use the heat shield of the original pipe .Just add a spacer if its too big .
