I refuse to haul a dual sport anywhere... if I can't ride it there, then its either a straight up race bike or dirt bike, of which I also refuse to own.

Guess I'm new to the d/s game but I'll haul my when needed. Plus I already have the race/dirtbike also!

Luckily in Texas you can find lots of connecting roads. Some dirt, others far from straight. Some highways are needed, but if you are really worried, I've seen some carry another set of tires or entire wheel sets. Its what ever you prefer.
