Hey, did you know that TWT will be down this weekend? Figured I'd start a thread here for suggestions of things to do, places to ride to, people to meet up with and how to keep from suffering TWT withdrawl. What you got?

I'll start off by saying that on Sunday I'll be watching my beloved beleaguered Buccaneers stomp the Cowboys.

Whatcha got? :rider:

Whatever you end up doing, take pictures, and let's share them on the new and improved TWT when it's back online! Image viewing is going to be awesome on the new board, especially on mobile.

Trailer to Big Bend National Park
Ride, change bikes, and ride again.

Let's see - the Saturday before Christmas, with my kids coming in from Colorado that evening, and (count 'em) 12 guests at the house all day on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Let's see. Saturday morning, I open up the trailer because that's our spare bedroom. For the rest of the day, it's cook, clean, cook, clean, cook, clean, cook, clean, cook, clean...... I doubt if my bike will get much TLC on Saturday. :tears:

Do you really want pictures of that, Jason? :-P

While Scott is suffering through the switchover, I'll hopefully be riding on Saturday. Sunday, I'll be at the brewery all day. Our best-selling amber ale is running low and we need to do another 4-barrel run to keep up with demand.

Monday, I'll be very tired. :)

I see opportunity for food porn. But admittedly, the trip to BBNP looks like it'll yield better photos.

Me and my son are headed to Florida on Monday so we are doing Christmas at home this weekend with my wife and all of our Texas family. I don't know if I'll have time to notice the board is down.

My favorite aunt used to have a placard in the galley of their motor home:
Closed due to illness.
I'm sick of cooking.

How about a TWT gathering at Scott's house?

Free donuts in his front yard!

My son and his family are up from Florida for the holidays. We'll go ride a bit. He's gonna be riding my 1200GS; I'm going to try to keep up with him on my Harley. Not much chance of that. :help:

Saturday is supposed to be clear and in the high 60s. I might go for a ride and worry about the site on Sunday :-P

It's all about priorities... right? :trust: :rider:

My gosh Jason......My son and I are......

I've got to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, night shift no less.

It is an iron law of the Universe that if you correct someone, you will invariably make a mistake yourself. I spend a LOT of time singing, "Let it go... Let it go...!" :-P

Volunteering as docent at Houston Museum of Natural History Sugar Land... come on by the Paleo hall and learn about Dimetrodon and I will show you how we clean the actual fossils.

Finish reading a book about Lewis and Clark: Undaunted Courage.

Daughters fly in from NYC Friday-- house will get loud and crazy.

Hope to sneak a ride in. Today is clear, but windy.

Finish reading a book about Lewis and Clark: Undaunted Courage.

Good book with a ton of interesting information. Crazy to think of them going into the unknown like that. Humans won't really ever do that again because thanks to technology we'll already know a ton about a location before we get there. When man sets foot on mars, we'll already know so much about it, but they had almost no data to go on. Unfortunately, the book, like most adventures, is a bit of a let down when the adventure is over and real life takes back over, but still a lot of good info in there. Enjoy!
