Today's project:

The KTM was in need of some long overdue attention.

Plugs
Air filter and inspect/clean the airway
Fluids
Fuel level float mod
Fuel pump and filters inspection
Chain maintenance

It's a Jenga puzzle ...

Got the lower air box back in place ... what a ****.

If you would have waited until Sunday (cause you got time) you could have done it in air conditioned splendor. Glad to see you are staying out of trouble. Probably tore you up to not go to work. Well, let me remind you it is just like when you left it, so you didn't miss anything. Wonder if we will get a Monitor from Doug next week? Hee Hee.

:After the breakfast you ate, that would be a requirement!:eat:
Thanks for the turn on your XR. That's one awesome machine.

Congratulations on the retirement, I am sure you will have no problem keeping busy!!

Enjoy, you worked hard to get this..

The first week has flown by.

Didn't know how much I missed a good nap.

That’s how it starts.
A little nap here and there.
Sleep late occasionally during the week.
You have to go out for ‘lunch’ because they quit serving breakfast by the time you get there.
You wonder where the day went...

Voice of experience!!!
Just think of all the time you have to ride at a leisurely pace.
You and I will have to go for a ride, on a Tuesday, just because we can.

And a Thursday and a Monday and a Wednesday ...

Met with a couple retirees today for lunch. It was great conversating and not it all be about work. Really the only work related discussions were rumors and remember whens.

I've spent the afternoon sorting through crap in my office that I've collected over the years.

Hey Mitch, you should come by tomorrow, working on Doris's trailer. Just getting her some new tires, dropping them in Cleburne. Got to weld on a Spare tire Carrier, maybe a little wiring. All on the lift in the A/C. I have an appt. in Cleburne at 1000. By the way, I took next week off, Donna suggested I play with you. I was thinking of naps, lunches and sleeping late. After all, I am older than you....

Next week sounds fun.
Not sure about tomorrow.

Had lunch with Jon Back and Mark Manroe today.
Enrolled in the CP Lunch Bunch ...

Check your texts, knucklehead.

Mitch did come by the other day and help me sweep up. Should I have tipped him?

As someone who works nearly full time in retirement keeping the leaves out of his shop, I would unequivocally say yes.

Are you off this week?

"off" has many meanings in this context.

Are you sitting at a desk at the plant this week?
I originally typed "working" but that fell into the same category as "off".
