Anyone have any good recommends for a tank bag for an '04 Triumph Sprint ST? I have a Nelson-Rigg bag but am not crazy about the look. This is a plastic tank so please don't recommend a magnetic bag.
Thanks,
Jeff

I use a Tour Master Cortech Mini tankbag on my ST. Took it to Colorado this summer and liked it. It stayed in place and looks good. The rear strap has to be tied off to a frame rail and so sits off to the side a bit. But it didn't affect the stability of the bag

- Likely everyone has their favorite <g>. I have a Marsee 21L tear drop that I'm pretty happy with for both its size/fit/shape/construction on my Beemer.

- WebBikeWorld has a pretty good selection of reviews on tank bags from various manufacturers ->

- I don't think you can go wrong with any of the 'popular' major players, ie: Chicane, Marsee, Wolfman, RoadGear, Touratech, etc. Guess you just need to decide on; day trips?, touring?, around town?, expandable?, map case/size?, electrified/non-electrified? accessing the gas cap?

- Actually, the Triumph bag for the ST looks pretty good for fit/shape. But, can't say that I've seen one in person -> http://tinyurl.com/yhhf4q

That is the same one that I have, I ran the back around the rear tank mounting point.

I like my SW-Motech setup. I have the small bag and one of the larger bags to fit the adapter. No straps to worry about and nothing touches the paint. Pops on and off in about a second.

There is a Cortech strap on bag in the For Sale section right now for $30. A guy sold his Sprint and doesn't need it anymore.

I like the Bagster line, with integral cover and bags, as well as matching luggage, etc.

They can be found at:

Look for your make, model, and year, than color.

I may even try them, if I talk myself out of the new Axio bag tank with hard top, totally waterproof. I am presently running the Spedpak, all plastic hard case. Magnetic and strap-on. (oops)
