Points of interest in the NW of USA. Requesting suggestions

My brother and I are kicking around the idea of touring the NW this summer. I am leaving DFW, and he will be riding from Indy. We will probably meet up in St. Louis at this point.

We've never seen Yellowstone or Mt. Rushmore, so those are on our list. Maybe Devils Tower, too.

What other points should we consider? Great places to eat, stay, or camp?

what is your intent depth or width? I could spend a life time in Western Montana, upper Idaho, NE Utah and Western Wyoming. Best 5 years of my life were in that region.

Cross the desert of eastern WA into Cascades and you need another lifetime.

Hit the Olympic peninsula and Pacific coast that is another couple of lifetimes.

Word of caution - you may not want to come back.
