Back after a long break

I'm not really new, but I'm back after several years of silence! I purchased a new (for me) last week for my birthday, so I'll be looking to meet up with some folks around DFW and beyond! I'm slowly filling my garage, and now I'm up to five. I think I may have room for a few more!

Well, if you have room, I have a awesome 93 VFR with a ton of extras that needs a new home. I'm willing to deal.

Sorry, sold. And missed badly.

If you want government to intervene domestically, you’re a liberal. If you want government to intervene overseas, you’re a conservative. If you want government to intervene everywhere, you’re a moderate. If you don’t want government to intervene anywhere, you’re an extremist. — Joe Sobran

It is no crime to be ignorant of economics, which is, after all, a specialized discipline and one that most people consider to be a ‘dismal science.' The accepted wisdom is that without the state, society would collapse into lawlessness and crime. In fact, lawlessness and crime define the very nature of the state and the society organized by it. - Bionic Mosquito

But the myth of the rule of law does more than render the people submissive to state authority; it also turns them into the state's accomplices in the exercise of its power. For people who would ordinarily consider it a great evil to deprive individuals of their rights or oppress politically powerless minority groups will respond with patriotic fervor when these same actions are described as upholding the rule of law. - John Hasnas

Re: Back after a long break

Good point. I bought a 2014 Honda CTX1300 Deluxe. Wanted a change of pace from my little sport touring bike (FZ6). I like the look of baggers, but didn't want to get a Harley. I saw the CTX and fell in love with it! Perfect mix of bagger and sport tourer.

Re: Back after a long break

It's got my motor in it! Truth be told, they down-tuned it for that ride. I don't understand why.

Paddy...are you still enjoying the ctx1300? I'm considering one, going to test ride one tomorrow.
