Hi Gina,
That's great, there's a lot of those kinds of trails/challenges on both sides
of Park Rd. 37 in that area (ie.. 15th, 17th, 22nd, Ave D & J).
Some easier than others.
You can spot them easily on google maps.
Wished I'd been out there to meet up,
I was hitting some local trails near my home where I
test my bikes out on after doing repair's.
There's a section of 24th behind my lot, that runs between Elmhurst and Simmons that has
intrigued me for awhile, and last few times I was out there a really talented rider
friend helped me cut a new trail from the back of my lot on 23rd and Ave W. to 24th st.
where I can hang a right and head into and cross thru a valley/canyon and come
up the other side where it (24th) theoretically terminates into Simmons Rd.
It's a blast, then from Simmons I start zig-zagging up and down, back n forth
on 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30th streets (there may are may not be street signs on there corners)..
I like the riding there because of all the types of short challenges
it offers for an enduro ride,
but when it comes to continuous trekking at speed with rhythm I prefer the stuff on Hwy 211.
I have about 5 miles of continuous trail carved out there on each side of the highway
along side of the power poles/lines where there's a rarely used service truck trail.
Here's a link to the map area:

I usually unload and take off from here: 29°32'52.0"N 98°48'13.4"W
Zoom in a little and you can see the trails on each side of the road.
I like this place also because if I need to get back to the road real fast, it's right there
and there's a new Valero witha Pizza Shop back on the corner of 211 and 471,
Yum...
In the map you can zoom in and see the trails as a set of white tire tracks in some places.
Don't be fooled by it's appearance on the map. It's a challenging course,
especially after its been visited and chewed up by the local 4WD trucks,
man it makes it almost a different challenge every time I ride it, which
I often do in laps going in both directions.
All in all I average about 50 miles of trail trek out there on a good riding day.
It may sound repetitious but thats how and what I need to stay fit and trained
for the big stuff..
Until Next Time,
Ya'll have a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
