Re: FS - KLR650 and Speed Triple

I think that might be the most beautiful speedy I've ever seen. I wish.

Re: FS - KLR650 and Speed Triple

Thanks, and it can be yours................

Re: FS - KLR650 and Speed Triple

Do I need another KLR?

Good looking Wing. How many miles on her?

A motorcycle is tool to do a job. What task do you wish to accomplish, then select the right tool to get it done.

A road sofa is the right tool for me at this stage of life.

Re: FS - KLR650 and Speed Triple

It just rolled 70k.
3rd owner from what I was told.
Stock except for the grips.

Runs like a GL1500.

Re: FS - KLR650 and Speed Triple

'93 interstate, no cruise (has throttle lock) no reverse.
Am/fm/aux input
CB, all the normal wing stuff

Re: FS - KLR650 and Speed Triple

Good year and good looking bike.

Learned something new today. Assumed ALL GL1500 Wings had reverse. A must with my leg.

Only Wing I'ver ever owned was a '94 SE, with reverse. Sorry I sold it.

Is it only the Interstate model with no reverse?

Re: FS - KLR650 and Speed Triple

Yes, the SE and aspencade have electronic cruise and the reverse.

:tab Agreed. Those bikes are just a total blast to ride. The sound of the motor/exhaust when you are really getting into it is just intoxicating. LOVE the blue! After riding one up in Southern Missouri, I soon realized I'd either end up in jail or dead... Just soooo smooth and the power is just so linear. 15 years ago I would have been all over a deal like this for this bike, but the knees just don't play that game any more :twitch:

You are so right, the Triumph SS is a young man's game.

But what a way to play... :trust:

Re: FS - KLR650 and Speed Triple

The KLR has changed it's look and stripes. Is now a UEV (Urban Escape Vehicle).
Photos in CL ad changed.

Re: FS - Triumph Speed Triple

KLR650 has gone to new pastures. Enjoy it Big D.

Speed Triple available and willing to deal, make an offer!

Re: FS - Triumph Speed Triple

Dude, should is spelled with "sh" not "c"... :D

Well played sir.

To be fair, my Green Sprint is closer to a Speed Triple at this point.
-ecu reflash
-2 Bros pipe
-Pirelli Diablo tires
-Redone front forks with Racetech cartridge emulators.

To do:
-rear shock
-ride til the wheels fall off.
