SOLD
2001 XR250R Plated
$1400
I bought this bike for my son to move into a full size dirt bike a couple of years ago. He has moved on and I have been keeping this around for a buddy bike. I now need my garage space back and a bit of cash never hurt anyone.
Yes I am aware that it is ugly and has been painted. I nor the previous owner did this. These bikes have a tremendous amount of torque and resist stalling which make them great trail bikes.
Total hours unknown. 79hrs. since Trail Tech Voyager installed. AVG. Speed 10mph (ridden on tight trails by beginners)
Has what are known as “Gordon’s mod”(uncorking and re-jet to match increased air flow) https://xr250rmods.wordpress.com/power-upuncorkingjettinggordons-mods-2/
Fat Bars Low rise with Rox risers to move them forward more over the forks for better control.
Baja Designs dual sport kit,
Tires rear D606; front MT21 both with good tread.
Runs out at about 69mph as geared. Current gearing is low enough to ride all single track at hidden falls.
Lots of maintenance items included. Jets, crush washers for oil plugs, fork seals and new fork boots, clutch plates and springs.
Title is a bonded title that will be clear blue title next time it is registered. Title is in previous owners name (signed by him also 140 form signed). He is a TWT member and we work together. I just never wanted to pay the tax since my son wasn’t riding on the road.
