Somebody grab this before I am tempted. These things are great starter bikes and a blast to ride. I taught my wife to ride on one and still miss just messing around on it.

Yes. I should have noted that it has only been run a few times in the past year. He lost intrest in it for some reason, same time he got his drivers license and got a vehicle
 Will probably need a new battery and a little carb work. Runs on the high end but stumbles bad on the low end.

Cut my teeth on this model, as well as discovered the evil shopping cart corral. Fun as heck to turn around the twisty roads.
I also road the beast to Commerce for several semesters. Enough power to pass big rigs and slow cars.

I rode over to get it on my xr and it would not run good enough for me to ride it home ( all the way across town)
 I was kinda bummed . And I just don`t feel like pulling the carbs . If my xr was doing what the Ninja is , I would have it fixed in about 30 minutes or less
