tire leaks, and it ain't a hole...

Pulled the tire and threw it in the tub. Little, slow bubbles all around the rim :( in probably three places on both rims.

So, guess I'll pull the tire off and inspect / sand down any rough spots I can see, then re-mount (carefully, this time) apply bead sealer, then set the bead and hope for a solution.

One question: does the bead sealer make breaking the bead significantly harder? Or, is this just a thin goo layer to fill in the little holes.
