Moto Guzzi parts for Gravel Guy
I don't speak Italian, but these Guzzi parts seemed to understand me just fine.

Is that ceramic coated? I guess it will keep the exhaust pipe a little cooler.
Great job! RB |

I don't know what to do: Mark is going to have a bike without rust on it. He might get it dirty to make it recognizable.

Re: Moto Guzzi parts for Gravel Guy
Can you ceramic coat a catalytic converter? I'd thinking of doing the exhaust on my Breva, but I'd just toast my wife if I didn't do the cat con as well. I'm enough of a nerd I rather not replace the converter with a Y-pipe.

Re: Moto Guzzi parts for Gravel Guy
What I read on-line, a catalytic converter on a naturally-aspirated engine might reach 750 deg. F.
I see a number of examples of ceramic-coated converters, including some racing ones on sale on our favorite auction site, so I guess coating them is not a problem. South Texas summers get plenty hot anyway without adding exhaust heat to the mix. I'm looking at it from a comfort standpoint, more than a performance adder.
