I was just re-reading this whole thread. I had forgotten the rash of crap I was given when I took this thing apart and how I'd destroyed a classic bike. I hope that is past now.
 
Your bike; do what you want with it.

I can't. I was measuring the ceiling looking at where the joists were probably at. I had a full plan with little pulleys and cables and a dirt bike hanging from the ceiling of the living room.

My wife isn't too keen on the idea. Something about withholding the access to the bewbies if I insisted on doing that.
