Both are possible I suppose. Never checked the fuel filter. Bike has only about 6,000 miles on it. should it be dirty already?

Re: Hesitation between 2K and 3K rpm

Well I'm thinking I am gonna try and mount the HID ballast and ignitor behind the steering stem on those cross braces of the frame right under the tank, so I'm gonna have to remove the tank to scope that out. Guess I will see about replacing a fuel filter when I do that. Time to look up that procedure!

I mounted mine toward the front of the frame under the cluster behind the head light area with zipties no issues in over a year!

Awesome. Mine has a single H4 bulb conversion and the wiring harness DDM sent me doesn't look like it is gonna fit on the Bandit and looks to have some extra wires and connections. But I sent them an email and they just sent me a link for the insturctions. I am gonna try and fit it and see what happens!

Current status: the A\F ratio in low rpm's was enrichened like the medium and high rpm's had previously been ( when the exhaust was replaced ). No noticeable improvement.

mminob,

I've read about this solution in the UK Forum. I suppose you're referring to these O2 Sensor Eliminator, correct?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oxygen-o2-...item3cc2819066

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oxygen-Sen...item564794e80d

1) Do you agree with the claimed benefits?
2) How long have you done this mod?
3) What other mods have you done ( exhaust, air filter, secondaries removed, etc. )?
4) How many kms have you done since then?
5) The jerkiness is gone for good?
6) Any cons ( or just pros )?
7) If the ECU is trying to lean the A\F ratio, according to the readings of the O2 Sensor, will the bypass create any over-fuelling issues?
8) Any possible reliability issues?

Thanks All for your inputs!!

Your cat will die soon. O2 sensor is there to make sure exhaust gases are right for the cat... if you deactivate it, the gases won't always be good, and the cat will be damaged. If you live in a place where there are no environmental restrictions you can try it... if your bike has to be euro 3 don't do it.
Apart from this, the magical O2 remover looks very close to a 2 cent resistor, measure the right resistance and save the extra money

bye

I've replaced the OEM exhaust by an Arrow one ( full system ). So, no cat.

Then you can do whatever you want... only pay attention, don't let it run too lean!

What about the surge at constant speed - constant throttle - 3 to 4000 RPM?
My plugs are brand new... not the iridium ones, but I think it's the same.

thanks,

WK

Gone. My plugs were all pitch black so I think it is running rich. I have an email in to Dale at Holeshot but haven't heard back from him about maybe leaning it out a touch.
