Hello From Port Aransas, on Mustang Island, TX

Ooooo...crop dusting is tough, crazy flying. Vertigo would be a bad combination with unusual attitudes and short radius, high-G turnarounds...

That sort of flying always looks like great fun, but every spray pilot I have known is either crazy, dead, or remarkably unhappy.

You should check out this RV park in Hondo, had at least 5 or 6 Ag pilots, two of them on helicopters..R44's. Otherwise, turbo-prop ag-cats, not sure on models though (Grumman?). Then every morning during "corn season" nice sunrise awakening with a plane going overhead about 200 feet or so, little shake of our RV there. It was an interesting year with those planes. Got the impression the pilots were recently single, not all, but some.

Scotchale.
