New To TWTEX

Greetings everyone. New to the forum, after repeated encouragement to sign up by an existing member, I did. Glad to be here and look forward to getting involved with fellow riders. Only been in TX for 1 year.

Currently on a KLR 650, have only been riding a very few years, I think only 2 years. The KLR is my first bike. I did recently sell a wonderful BMW R1150GSA. What a great motorycle, too big for me though, bummer. Again, great to be here, look forward to participating.

Sincerley,

2RedDogs

P.S. If anyone knows of a good deal on some OE passenger peg brackets for an r1150GS, I need both the right and left. The buyer of my GSA did not want my Jesse Luggage system and I forgot to get the peg brackets. Dang it! So, if I get OE's then I can ask him for the Jesse brackets back. Please help.

Glad to see you stick your head in!

Re: the brackets, ping the site BeemerBoneyard. They might have an inexpensive set of take-offs. Or call Robert over at Lonestar BMW. They've got lots of 'stuff' sitting around.

I ck'd Beemer Boneyard, out of stock. I need to go see Robert and meet this man. I am going to try to get another BMW so, he needs to become an acquaintence. I have someone else on the case as well. It'll happen, as always with me, I want it to happen now.

Does the buyer know about TWT?

That bike has been eluding me since Scott sold it...
