I moved to San Antonio about 6 1/2 years ago. I have been riding (off and on) since I was 13 years old. I started by riding the foothills of the Angeles Crest mountains on an XR75 in the early '70's and later rode a Honda 125 street bike and Kawasaki KZ750.
After a long hiatus from riding (I had a few close calls with inattentive LA drivers in cars) I started riding again in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains on a KTM 640 Adventure. It was a great way to get back into riding and allowed me to cut my teeth (again) on dirt and street riding again. It got to the point I was riding mostly street bike I had also acquired and decided to sell the KTM when I still lived in California. I have been riding Harleys (with the temporary addition of a Big Dog Mastiff) since.
Well a couple of weeks ago I plunged back in to dual sport and adventure riding with the purchase of a KTM Super Adventure 1290 (can't go wrong with those two words in the name). And so, here I am. I'm looking forward to riding the Texas Hill Country and elsewhere with you.
