HONDA XR650L OWNER'S SIGN IN

I may be there this weekend if they're open and I don't change my mind. I may end up at Emma. Been jonesin for CTOR though since I haven't been yet and may go there if it's open.

I've got a clogged pilot int he 300, but will try to fix it before the weekend. I'll follow the thread, but it may be hard for me to get away from the family. We have more weekend coming up before the weather gets cruddy. I need to get the Sherco over to Emma Long, too.

...clogged piilot...

I've felt that pain often, especially when I was using the 35 pilot per the OEM jetting specs. I stopped having that problem so much when I went back to the JD jet kit that (lucky for me) came with the bike, which runs a bigger pilot at these altitudes.

Hope everyone has a healthy, prosperous, and happy new year!

happy new years everyone
lets hope 2018 is better than 2017 was...

While I always hope for improvement, 2017 was a great year. No complaints here...well maybe one event I would like to erase.

2018 is off to a great start as riding the first 3 days. Should have 100K miles on the bike by the end of the week. Not too bad for 3 years of pleasure riding.

SeaFoam, half oz in every tank. No more clogs. Ever.

has anyone else tried this SEAFOAM stuff before ?
like I said before I had to get my carb cleaned it had a lot of goop/gunk
in it from sitting to long I had put that fuel/stabilizer stuff in the tank
it was the {pink} stuff and it did not work like I tought it would
I would like to hear what you guys think about SEAFOAM in the tank
remember I have a 6.8 acerbic tank
how many OZ for 6.8 gallons do ya think ?

just wondering :coffee:

thanks Lonnie.........:rider:

Sea foam is good stuff. Irish knows what he's talking about. Best thing though is not to let the bike sit. I'm sure I'll have to pull the carb on my XR since I don't remember riding it since I bought my Tenere

Not me. The last time I gambled was at LAB2LV when Rman wouldn't let me out of the casino in Vegas without hitting the slots. Some little old lady was watching me try to play one of those card games and after a moment said, "Honey, you have no idea what your doing, do you?"
