Re: MOAB - NADS riding for the week

Awesome posts, guys!
5 MOH is right up there as one of the top bucket list.
I have yet to do it, but next yr, our group's going on spring break '18.
5MOH will be on my list.

And this time around, I'll do Pritchett going down.
Took us a full day riding Pritchett going up.
It was ugly getting up over that last vertical wall.

Re: MOAB - NADS riding for the week

Pritchett on the way up is definitely technical. For those that haven't been there, here's a video from one of our trip a couple years ago where my buddy had a bad day going up Pritchett. This is what Pritchett can do to an A racer with pretty good technical skills.

At the risk of being a thread hijacker, a couple trip summary vids of Moab trips for those who want an idea of the area around Moab.

Re: MOAB - NADS riding for the week

Great videos . Nice editing. I recognize Porqupine trail from my MTB days.

What trail is the one on the Moab '13 video at the 2:00 mark ?

We have to go back to cover some of the other trails.

I watched several times. I had to stop the vids several times. I would be terrified. Takes nerves of steel to ride in some of those places.

That's Cliffhanger/Amasaback. It's also in the Moab '15 video going the other way at ~3:10.

That "A" racer in the Hendrix video looked very tired, I think that was his big issue.

Re: MOAB - NADS riding for the week

After a short one and 1/2 days ride in moab this June I can understand why no one can explain how Moab is ... crowded town, easy roads, met by technical trails only you have to experience.
