ok, here's one for the legal eagles. there is a huge network of storm drains (really big ones) in San Antonio with evidence of vehicular traffic (two track). is it illegal to ride a motorcycle in the public property?
This looks to have a great potential for an enjoyable ride and exploration with some stealth camping on the side.

That's a great question. The only people I've ever seen making tracks through there are all Sheriffs though, when they are patrolling looking for people doing dumb stuff. But, you're right; if we can ride in there, that would be awesome. Now I'm curious too.

If it is city property you can bet it is not legal. They can't afford anyone getting hurt on their property. Lawyers!

Pretty sure if caught they will run you off. I have been tempted to ride around in the Trinity River flood canal in downtown Dallas (and have a few times) and eventually as soon as someone sees me they will make a beeline to me and they'll holler at me and tell me it's not allowed, at which point they will escort me out. They've always been pretty cool about but I can tell they get annoyed with it and I just apologize and tell them I never saw any signs stating otherwise.
