So it was an all-slab day for us, due to the threat of weather, but we had a great time none-the-less.

We had 4 riders for this quest. From left to right: Dahveed, Shane (not a member), his friend (also not a member), and UncleBuck.

A few pictures from around the joint. For those who have watched videos and seen news photos about Snow's will recognize this place. Not much to look at, but pretty famous around these parts.

The famous 83 year old pitmaster Tootsie Tomanetz emerging from the smoke.

Me and Miss Tootsie. She had been greeting and talking to people the whole time we were there, but she was as warm and friendly to me as a long-time friend. We chatted about the weather and the brisket for a couple of minutes, then it was selfie time.

Had a great time, the brisket and jalapeno sausage were excellent, the pork ribs were average. Someone else had pork shoulder and said it was great. All in all, well worth the ride, and glad to have checked it off my bucket list.

Dahveed and UncleBuck, thanks for coming along for the ride. Not the best roads, but really good company and food. Until next time!

pacman - I had a great time today and enjoyed the ride as well as the barbecue. Thanks for planning the ride.

Very nice. I love the BBQ there. My wife is from Lexington, actually from a farm about two or three miles from Snows. In the 1970's we used to get the BBQ from the meat market that used to be on the town square and Tootsie made it there, too.

Pacman, thanks for planning this and leading the ride! It was fun in spite of the weather driven road choices.

One of these days I'll get over there and have some BBQ. I should've already being I don't live too far from Lexington. Thanks for the report.
