For sale is a very nice, tastefully farkled R1200RT with 17,300 miles.
Bought from a dealer in Ft. Worth in May 2016 with just under 10K miles. It was a 1 owner bike with heated grips, heated seats, electric windshield, cruise and ESA.
Since then, I've added a Russell Day-long seat and Corbin Smuggler's trunk. Bought them both used. The seat is near perfect and I just had the trunk painted to match the bike.
I've also added Suburban Machinery lowering pegs, extended shifter and bar risers and Wunderlich engine guards.
Along with that, a Ztechnik GPS mount, Zumo 660 cradle, battery tender pigtail, Fenda Extender and Kathy's design bag liners.
I have the OEM heated seats and BMW tank bag as well.
Tires are almost new Pilot Road 4s with right angle valve stems. I have a set of new EBC brake pads that will go along with the bike. And the battery is less than 6 months old.
I do all my own maintenance. No dealerships close to me. But all fluids have been changed and/or replaced. I installed new iridium spark plugs and lubed the drive shaft splines on the diff end.
I've taken the bike on two short trips ... one to Arkansas and one to the Sisters. It's a great touring bike. Very comfortable for long days in the saddle.
Why am I selling? I've discovered I prefer the adventure style bike. So I purchased a GS and for the last 6 months, I've rarely ridden it.
sold
The pictures show a dirty motorcycle. I still ride it some, just to keep everything happy.
