2000 Honda XR 650! Street legal! Very rare! Lots of aftermarket parts... FMF pipe, etc., biggest 4 stroke dirtbike there is, so much torque you better hang on! It sounds like a Harley! This is the bike that wins the BAJA 1000 every year! Which is the longest dirtbike race in the world... Hope someone out there understands what this thing is cause it's street legal,,not a regular dirt bike, and you will not find again! I'm really going to miss it, I am moving out of state. Comes with helmet, goggles, and gloves.. $3850 call or text Scott at show contact info

if you had any seat time on one of these... you would understand, and the bonus is this one is street legal.

While the 650R is an awesome bike, "very rare" is a bit of a stretch and if it "sounds like a Harley", I'd be nervous about buying it. Since he's "moving out of state", that should instill confidence in any buyer (sarcasm). I think JMZ is just pointing out yet another heavily embellished (and probable scam) Craigslist ad.

Owned one just like it a few years back. Probably the best looking bike I ever owned and what a motor!! And yes, this seems to be a good solid deal.

Re: The Craigslist Thread

Did they have issues with heat on those? I know at some point they corrected that.... OR am I mistaken. That is a good looking bike.

Heat issue resolved on 2010 models forward. It was frustrating to me attempting to lessen the heat on my 09 but a non issue for some other owners. Like early FJR's some put out more heat than others. A good riding friend also owned an 09 that didn't seem to put as much heat on the rider as mine did. Luck of the draw

That is what I was wondering about. I have ridden a couple. One a friend plated and the other pretty race modded. Good long distance cruiser but not terribly special as far as race bikes go. The Honda team bikes were quite different than stock.

Re: The Craigslist Thread

I was just pointing out the seller saying it's a rare bike. Why add BS in an add like that ? The XRR ( original big red &#128022 is great for wide open desert and some like it for dual sport. All that said , I haven't ridden mine in a good while 😩

Re: The Craigslist Thread

One other thing about the ad is the info next to the picture says "XR250".

Only reason not more was a change in displacement rules by SCORE.
