Oldtlsdoug and MitchnTX Take on Time 2 Ride near Walnut Springs

The Cup is at the corner of 67 and FM56
Quick bite to eat and then to T2R which opens at 0730.

Likely on the GS if I come for this one.

450?

Saw this on their FB:

"T2R got 1 1/2” of rain last night! The trails will be perfect for the weekend. We’re expecting a big crowd this weekend, call John for information 214-808-8089."

And the 1.5" of rain made some areas pretty daggum slick ...

I had two off bike excursions ... both mud related.

I didn't realize just how soft 10" of black gumbo mud was till I landed in it.

It was like a big pillow to soften your fall. :)

I've got a cool video of it, but it's only in my head.

Doug has all the ones we can share with others.

Had a good time, thx for the invitation.

You saved my life, bro ...

Looks like a nice riding area. glad to see you two on the dirt. Soon you will be headed towards Red River and the local mx tracks.

I got some pretty good video of Mitchntx and 2Wheelnut working to extract the XR650L from the pretty gumbo mud. More interesting is the video of me chasing the GS of 2Wheelnut through the place. That was a hoot. I had a blast. Even though they are clean, I will wash my white pants for next time. I got the goggles and jersey and gloves when I got back. So now Mitch can dress just like me. It will be like we are on the same team.....

Did you run your GS through there? How was it?

Doable on an Africa Twin?

Brought both the WR and the GS. I did a lap on the GS on the green trail.

It's doable on the AT but it's challenging.

It is pretty tight and be comfortable going through trees and tight turns. Mostly you just have to be smooth and remember it weighs 500 pounds. I almost over cooked a corner and went down in a slick spot because I forgot.

It was much more fun on the WR.
