A Little Change is always good

Dang sir, cut the tie, not the hand! Oh well, doubt it'll be the last bloddletting in that garage.

I can't wait until I get my next smashed thumb. After all, I have a whole plethora of hammers.....

Mitch, I'm surprised at you. Like Doug would consider buying more tools? What are you thinking?

He doesn't have enough tools to occupy all that wasted garage volume.

Yeah ... he's no tool junkie

I can walk away at anytime. For Mitch, I post up this picture of the amount of room in front of the truck. He knows why, and that is what matters.;-)

Workspace envy, nice job sir. I imagine it will be filled with projects and tools soon. I see no speakers... gotta have music. Anker has some good sounding bars and stand alone stuff, Bose has better bass, Sonos or Yamaha for the good sound using WiFi.
Is the lift self-supporting with just the base bolts ? I never looked at them closely but have seen them loaded and obviously they don't pitch front to back.

The bases are bolted with 3/4 in grade 8 bolts. They are each (5 per side) then torqued to 130 ft-lb. The spec for the concrete was 4.5 in, I exceeded that, but drilled through the slab to be sure.

So, I continue getting the basics sorted. I still have to wrangle this puppy into place and bolt her down, then plumb the shop, then do lots more stuff. This is supposed to be fun.

Lots of silly stuff going on in there, folks. I will point out that everything I have put in the shop weighs at least 140 pounds. Must be a shop thang.

Good Lord ... I didn't see the paint booth or sand blasting area.

But if I want one, I can have air enough for it, sir....

Not a better friend to have your back and help you out than Mr. Jim Uehlein. I belive Mitch can back me up on that one. (Unless you let him test ride your scooter, and then you are on your own).

She works a treat, fills it up pretty fast. Man, that first fill, the tank was a bit hot. Break-in run is over, she holds pressure nicely. I may go start plumbing the shop tomorrow. We shall see.

I would have come over to help, but I had to do my nails.
