I wasn't sure whether to post this in the racing folder or not. When I glanced at it, it seemed to be geared more to pro stuff. If this is in the wrong place, please feel free to move it and thanks in advance for your help.

I'm looking form some local venues for amateur motorcycle racing. Some of my favorite memories growing up was going to races in Baytown and taking pictures. As a side note, I was introduced to frito pie as a youth there. LOL

In any event, is there a website some where that I could get info about tracks? Are there spectator sections there? And any tips as far as rules for walking around taking pics are involved. I don't want to get in anyone's way, but a photo trip to the pits would be fantastic.

Any input is welcomed.

Thank you! Looks like some great racing there.

Anyone have any dirt track/flat track racing venues handy? :trust:

If your not already aware, (Texasoffroad.net) has a lot of off road Moto racing info.

Thanks for the links and info everyone. I'm looking forward to some drier and warmer temps and a chance to shoot tome racing. Ride safe.

There's a track in Alvin, Texas but I don't know if they are still racing or not. If you google flat track racing in Alvin, Texas, you can go to their Facebook page to see what's going on (I don't do FB). It's more popular in the DFW area - there's a track around Ft. Worth that has regular events. As others have mentioned, TON generally has more info.
