No worries for tires, you could have railed those corners without issue. Actually those tires are better suited for those paved roads than than were for the multi-use trails at SHNF you rode. Speaking of which how much did you ride there? Just a quick jump on and off or you rode a complete trail section or two?

We have only road the forest one time on the twins, we have made several trip when we had the CRF250 honda's. The trip we made on the AT we did a lot of dirt roads and about 8-10 miles of trails. It was a little tough for my wife, sand get her, she hate sand. Other than that we did ok. I would go do it again.
