DL1000 riders Stock handguards

Any of you use the stock handguards. I was thinking of modding a set to fit the Z1000, with a coat of very orange paint of course. What do they attach to on the stock bars?

There are some cheap roost guards out there that may be an option. But I thought the Zuk ones might fit (modificated) and they are very cheap. OEM parts go figure.

They attach with special bolts with spacers through the clutch and brake lever pivots.

Yeah, I wanted to take mine off in the summer to get more air to my ventilated gloves, but they were a pain. There might be some other non-OEM part available that would be easier.
